A revolution in skin bio-revitalization PRX-T33® will leave your skin feeling firmer, tighter, lifted, and with an enviable glowing appearance. It is a skin rejuvenator and bio stimulator that is unique. It is not a peel, nor is it an injectable but a gel that, applied with a specific technique, provides immediate aesthetics improvement and deep hydration. It is in the same category as a medical peel and benefits from the same results, however, with this treatment you do not peel so there is no downtime.
What is a PRX Peel?
PRX is a chemical peel that stimulates collagen formation and promotes skin beautification. This procedure provides the effects of a bio-revitalization but without needles.
PRX Peel Benefits
The PRX bio revitalization peel is an innovative technique that stimulates the regeneration of the skin without involving exfoliation of the epidermis. It helps to strengthen the radiance and brightness of the skin, correct skin imperfections of the skin and reduce stretch marks.
PRX is for patients wishing to:
• Strengthen the radiance and brightness of facial skin
• Treat dilated pores
• Plumping the skin like a mesotherapy
• Mitigate recent depressed scars (acne, varicella or impetigo scars, superficial traumatic scars, post-surgical)
• Revitalize the skin of the neckline
• Improve the hydration of the skin
• Reduce stretch marks
• Improve the aesthetic appearance of the hands
How does a PRX Peel treatment work?
The first step to a safe, effective, and pain-free PRX treatment is a quick facial cleanse, followed by the application of a preparing solution. Next, the PRX compound is applied to your skin utilizing firm pressure. Approximately two to four layers of PRX are applied. Next, the compound is gently rinsed off with water prior to the application of a nutrient-rich moisturizer. Since the treatment bypasses the layer of skin known as the epithelium, there’s no pain, and best of all, no peeling! In addition, there are NO needles and no downtime.
How is a PRX Peel unique?
• No needles
• Painless
• No peeling
• Easy to perform aftercare
• Your social life is not affected
• Non-photosensitising it can also be used during the summer months
• Provides immediate palpable firming
PRX Peel Costs
The PRX Peel costs approximately $1,000 for 4 treatments.

During Your Treatment
• During your treatment, PRX will be applied to your skin in layers. The number of layers will depend on your needs and will determine what we need to do to achieve your desired outcome.
• From there, we’ll gently massage the area we’re treating allowing the product to penetrate your skin one layer at a time.
• After this step, we’ll apply a highly concentrated moisturizing cream to keep your skin hydrated and protected.
After Your Treatment
• Protect Your Skin
Apply, and reapply your sunscreen. I can’t stress enough how skin exposure to the sun is the biggest cause of visible aging. 80% of facial aging is the result of exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation. If you know you will be exposed to the sun itself or artificial sources like tanning beds, you should take preventative measures seriously, especially after receiving a PRX treatment.
When choosing a sunscreen, it’s best to use one with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 30 or higher. If you received your PRX bio revitalization treatment on your face, I recommend selecting a facial-specific non-comedogenic sunscreen with a minimum of 50 SPF. Take care to thoroughly apply a liberal amount of product, and massage it deeply into your skin. You should always reapply your sunscreen every two hours when outdoors or as directed on the product’s package.
• Cleanse Gently
You should always take care to be gentle with your skin, but the area you received your PRX bio revitalization re-treatment on should be treated with delicacy. The treated area may still have some transient heat, and it is not uncommon to see swelling, redness, and tenderness of the skin.
These side effects will typically dissipate pretty quickly, but they do have the potential to last up to a week. Even if you aren’t experiencing any swelling, redness, or tenderness of the skin, it is still recommended that you take extra care of the treated area for seven days.
Only use cool water and a gentle, non-comedogenic cleanser on the treated area. Take care not to wash the area too roughly; scrubbing or excessive rubbing can result in swelling and redness. Make sure you pat dry any skin that you have cleansed with a soft cloth. After the seven days have passed, you should be cleared to resume your previous skincare routine and go back to using all of your favorite products. Consider introducing new skin care tips to your regular routine.
• Avoid Salicylic Acid Products, Additional Treatments, and Makeup
If you received your treatment on your face, do not use makeup for a minimum of 24 hours. Although you may have favorite products that you use all the time, some ingredients may cause a reaction with your freshly treated skin. Some makeup products, primarily foundations and primers, contain salicylic acid, which, when applied to the treated area, could cause a severe reaction.
Salicylic acid is a type of medicine that is found in many products and is used to treat everything from acne to dandruff. Because of its exfoliating properties, salicylic acid works by helping to shed dead cells on the outermost layer of your skin. For this reason, applying a product that has salicylic acid to an area that has been recently treated with PRX can result in serious irritation.
I also advised that you do not receive any other cosmetic treatments in the same area for one week. If you received a facial peel, it is also recommended that you do not have any dental treatments during the initial healing period as well. You don’t want to do anything to interfere with the healing process and potentially spoil your results.
• Moisturize Frequently
A light, non-comedogenic moisturizer should already be a frequent part of your skincare routine, and bonus points if your favorite product already has SPF as part of its formula. Moisturizing regularly can help reduce the visual effects of aging by reducing fine lines and making skin smooth and soft.
After your PRX procedure, you’re going to want to moisturize more frequently than you typically do during the seven-day period after treatment. To get the most radiant results, you need to ensure that your skin is consistently well-hydrated.
Experiencing dryness or flaking after PRX treatment is not uncommon. Moisturizing regularly can help prevent it from happening in the first place and will minimize the flaking if you do experience side effects from the peel.
• Try Walking, Not Weightlifting
For the best results, any situation or environment that could cause excessive sweating should be avoided during the healing period. And yes, that includes exercise.
Causing your PRX treated skin to sweat excessively can lead to serious irritation and can potentially mess up your ideal results. If you are already experiencing swelling or redness as a side effect, sweating can exacerbate that effect, resulting in extreme discomfort. Sweating can also cause the skin to heal unevenly, resulting in discoloration or red patches.
If you’re a couch potato, you may be rejoicing right now, but for you fitness fanatics, this might sound like a death sentence. Don’t worry! Rigorous exercise only needs to be avoided during the initial seven-day healing period before you can go back to your usual routine.
